Neighbours have expressed their shock after a mother was killed and her daughter was left fighting for her life in their home. A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder after a mother was found dead and her daughter left battling life-threatening injuries in Worcester last night.
Emergency services were seen on the residential road, with ambulance crews, police and a critical care team in attendance.
One woman aged 58 is reported to have died and a second woman, 39, was left with severe injuries following the incident which occurred at 8.30pm.
The pair have been named locally as Wendy Francis and her daughter Stacey Hill, but police have not confirmed their identities. One witness said they saw a person being treated on the ground before being taken away in an ambulance.
