A woman has reportedly been raped at a beauty spot in broad daylight as three 15-year-old boys were arrested.
Police were informed that the victim was attacked near Tynemouth Priory in North Tyneside shortly after 3.50 pm on February 25. Northumbria Police stated that specialist officers are providing support to the female.
A spokesperson for the force stated: “An investigation was immediately launched by police, and the female victim continues to be supported by specialist officers. “Officers have arrested three males – all aged 15 – on suspicion of rape. “They have since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.”
